Western Star Gauge Problem-This is Bizarre!

    Have a 2007 western star all gauges work fine except coolant temp and oil temp the just go willy nilly they will go up to 250 then back down to 100 then up again the data star shows same temps that the gauges do while its doing This any help?

    I have an 05 western star 4900 and all of my air gauges quit working, my suspension pressure and my primary and secondary air gauges. Any idea what could cause it they are all electric

    I got the same problem with WS 2006.
    I fix it by changing the Oil temp sensor. They are the same (coolant and oil),

    I got the same problem with the WS 2006, 14L. Oil Temp sensor was a problem. I change it and fixed my problem.
    Just to let you know that oil and coolant sensor are the same.

    I have 2016 western star and I'll be driving down the road and all my gauges will stop and check transmission light will come on, when light goes off the gauges comes back

    Needs to be plugged in with DDDL. I'll bet you find CPC communication codes......
