That does seem to limit your options but only till you turn 23, the I believe insurance rates drop a lot and it will be easier.

Hey Freeman I know how you feel,I have been stuck between central and stevens but stevens requires the driver to be 24. THAT SUCKS especially when you are about two weeks away from the requirement!!!!!

    Good Luck and drive safe!!!!

If you look around on the forum, I think you will find Steven's isn't the place to go. I know you said you were going with central, but just thought I would give you a heads up anyways. Good luck!

Thanks L. Pete for the heads up!!! I live in Cali. and I would have to bus out to dallas,tx for training and have to pay the ticket myself plus pay for hotel stay. Central I live 75-80 miles from riverside and it is free room for the entire training period!!!!! I guess it wasn't too hard to decide.

I'm all packed up and ready to go. I jump on the greydog tomorrow morning and head off down the road. I heard somewhere you should only have one bag packed, per the packing list that Sarah had sent me that aint gonna happen. Thursday was my last day working and boy have I been super busy just wrapping up loose ends and getting ready for school.

I will be checking in and updating somewhat regularly. I look forward to meeting the other students starting on Oct 5th.

All bags need to be soft sided. Like a large duffle bag.
You should not have more than one bag of clothing.
Your bedding does not count as a bag, since it will be on a bunk.
You would be amazed how much stuff will get into your truck in no time at all. It took me several carloads to empty mine when I was leaving Central.
I thought I got all of it out, accept a few days of clothing. Then when I was cleaning the truck out at the terminal I realized I had too much stuff lol.
I got all I could into my bag, then had to pay the over weight payment for the bag at the airport.
I also gave several things away at the terminal. CB ant, all cabling, bird pirch for mounting on a volvo, small 500w power inverter. Spare Cobra 29 ltd.
There were some happy ppl going to upgrade that day.
