Hello all,
The company I am looking at does their training in Missouri, where i will obtain my CDL. I have to have my permit in MA before I go there.
However, I called the Registry here and verified that you have to retake both license tests here in MA if you have not had your CDL in another state for less than 2 years.
Does anyone here have any experience with this?
Thanks!

Is it Prime? I thought you got your permit at school there? As far as the tests, I can't help you. PA has easy transfer laws.

No, Conway. MA is a screwy state in more ways than one.

Really? Awesome.

Morpheus, how that work out for you? I am currently having the same problem.

You're going to be waiting a while. He's not been on since 2018.

If I understand the issue that person was getting their CDL in MO and then changing it back to his home. The rules on this have changed as far as I know. If I understand it correctly you take the written tests AT HOME, then take that permit with you to school. Then you go back home to get the CDL issued. So at the worse, you will have to take the road test at home. IF I AM UNDERSTANDING THIS CORRECTLY!
With this COVID situation, you might have to wait a while, but I would find a way to get the facts on this FROM your home states DMV.
