Hello,
How do Fedex o/o's run. Can they run anywhere? Do they always go terminal to terminal? Can they shower at Fedex terminals? Thanks in advance.

It depends. Are you just bringing a truck on or do you want to buy someone’s routes? If you’re just wanting to bring your truck on then you’ll likely start out as a wild team going all over. You’ll have to do that until you get enough points to bid on the dedicated runs.
bzinger and truckdriver31 Thank this. -

And start driving like there’s no speed limits, that’s what I see every night. I just don’t know how they get away with it.

I’m not sure if this is at contract renewal time or when but according to my friend all trucks are getting cut back to 65. And you have to run forward and cab facing cameras and have lane departure crap now. And he said something about they’re going to have an age limit on trucks moving forward.

Wow, hadn’t heard that. Bet it won’t last long in this kinda market. Probably came down from some high up out of touch moron.

That’s why you’re seeing more outside fleets pulling their trailers. I know of one run that leaves Thursday and they’re home Monday morning, so off the rest of Monday and all day Tuesday and Wednesday, pay is 72 cents and they can’t keep people on it with the new rules. One other run I’m aware of the team used to be able to go home after every trip, it was a dedicated out and back, and once they cut the trucks back to 65 they no longer had time to go home between trips so they quit.Midwest Trucker Thanks this.
