I have a 2015 Prostar with a cummins cm2350 and 10 speed AMT. I have some kind of traction control thing going on. I have had it to two different dealers and they say nothing wrong with a truck with no codes basically.
So, what happens is when there is any kind of wheel slip from any drive tires at all the left rear duals lock up, and I mean lock up. Air dumps to a point where if you let it go on for a few seconds the low air warning beeper comes on. This happens when I am taking off bobtail or empty mostly, and of coarse during the winter is especially annoying. The only thing that stops it as letting completely off the throtle and starting over. The thing will dig the duals right into the dirt, or skid them on the pavement.
One day in my driveway there was about a ¼ inch of wet snow and wet muddy driveway underneath. I couldn’t get the truck to roll without locking that dual up for nothing, as soon as you give it some throtle and you feel the clutch engaging, there would be a little slip from one of the other drive tires and it locks it up by dumping air full tilt until you let completely off. My driveway is completely flat. The only way I got it out on the road was to shut the truck off, pull main ABS fuse, start truck with all the beeping and lights on the dash, drive out no problem at all, shut truck off, replace fuse and go.
I can’t imagine that the traction control system is supposed to make you stuck worse, but maybe? I have pretty much new matching drives and new shocks. I have tried the off road switch, that doesn’t seem to change anything. When I first turn the key on, there is a message in the display that just says ‘ABS Module’. But that goes right away as soon as the trans powers up and displays N for neutral, and never comes back until I start the truck again. The dealer said that is normal. I have my doubts. As far as the rest of it, the ABS seems to work fine.
Any suggestions, you know, besides the lighter fluid thing? I do get along with it ok, but, winter is coming again, and I don’t want to deal with it anymore. Thanks guys.

There is a relay valve under the cab, under where abouts the drivers seat is that is controlled by the abs/trans to control wheel slip with slight brake applications. I wonder if it is causing a full brake application instead of a more feathered one, or not allowing proper release.

Thank you, I will have that looked at soon, I honestly am almost to a point of just caging the dang thing off. Its always the rear left, so , in theory. lol

No, never did. I started having emmisions issues, it was all I was going to do with that truck, its gone now. Sorry.
