Well my brakes were squeaking like dickens, so my car, whose name is faith, had to be oos until my busy schedule clears. My replacement, a gas guzzling dodge ram. Dang that thing rides nice.
CD,
Congrats on orientation.

I work too much to wrack up miles on my Explorer.
It was at almost 70k when I got it 4 years ago.
It is at 96k now lol.
I cannot see any reason to get rid of it though. Runs great. Not a scratch on it. Looks new, other than the older body style. It is a 1998 Explorer Limited, with a nice V8 that runs like a top. Needs some new tires though, the ones on it are about 7 years old I am guessing. -
Hi, just finished reading all 640 pages. My husband is supposed to start school on the 12th. I am hoping someone can give me the truth about their rider policy. The recruter told him as soon as he upgrades to a solo driver I can get on the truck with him. I read somewhere in here that someone said no riders your first winter, the recruter did not mention this at all. What is the correct answer on this?
-
I never heard anything about no riders your first winter.
My wife works full time so did not go out with me, but I never saw any kind of seasonal provision for the rider policy. -
Well CD,
I volunteer, work, and attend college. My least busiest days are Wednesday when I do not go in to work until 10AM. Thursday aint that bad as I do not go in until 10 for my math tutor. My car is an 07 dodge caliber with 52,5K on her. I did pizza delivery and love the mitsubishi engine.

I use to deliver pizzas in a 1971 Firebird, with a 455 SD.
I was putting well over 550 hp to the rear wheels and drove it every day. I really miss that car and I still cannot figure out how I made it out of my teens.
BTW you in Corning much? That is not that far up the road from me. -
hey river_runner, Lahaina, HI....partly cloudy with light showers and a warm 86F. but....mi's are crappy and it takes 4ever to do a short run of only 20 mi's from one point to another would really stress most of the drivers who post on this website....trust me...i'll take the rain and snow if we can run for miles b/4 we have to turn back around.....or fall off into the ocean, hehehe
we ran into snow through Burley and a lot of rain and high winds from UT on the 84 to ID., Boise is really soggy right now....stay safe!! -
