Hey all,
I'm going to be taking 5 or 6 days off at a truck stop somewhere. I'd like it to have alot of restaurants around it. I'm thinking the Petro in Effingham, but I'm looking for other suggestions. So what's the best spot you've ever found, truck stop wise, to take time off?
Steve

Which part of the country? Do you want a rental car?
-
No, no rental car. Just stuff within walking distance. Location wise, no California, because it's going to be hard for me to get to, and no new England, because I hate the northeast. Other than that, i can go anywhere, mostly. Just need to know about them.

Jeffersonville, OH off I-71 has a good selection of eating spots. I think exit 65. There's a TA and Speedway on the south side of the bridge and Love's with a Hardee's is on the north side. I advocate for Speedway....good cheap food

San Antonio. Catch the bus to the riverwalk. Picks up right down the street from the flying j.

I always enjoyed the TA in Commerce City Co...1 mile walk (pretty pedestrian friendly) to tons of shops and restaurants.
