My flatbed trailer came from the factory with this installed, I would not have a trailer without one now... Ive used a CAT scale one time this year and only because the shipper required it...
Having one definitely saves you time from having to find a truckstop with a scale, especially at a super busy location, it can take a while to get scaled out.. Definitely worth the investment.
Speed_Drums, 86scotty and Midwest Trucker Thank this. -
I contacted them to see what it takes to install them in a dry van.
JonJon78 Thanks this. -
What ELD do you have? My ELD company just sold me two bluetooth T's for $150 per. They work pretty well so far and are right there on the screen I use all day (ELD). Once or twice I've had to walk back to the rear axle to get the weight to lock in but it usually does from the cab while you are still.

OmniTracks I don't think they have anything like that!

@JonJon78 I talked to the guy at the right weight. $465 MSRP for the least expensive one plus install the nice digital in-cab display is nice but too much money. I need to get them to install it here in Dallas. There are several dealers around, This is well worth getting. These shippers I deal with don't know how to load you and reloading... forget it might as well just not take the #### load. @Dino soar has a much more economical way of doing this, but I am not sure if I have the mechanical aptitude to get it done!!!!
