As my previous topic said I am coming back to the CB Radio scene from taking time away from the hobby. Is channel 28 still active what about 26.915? Back in the 26.915 was the frequency most used to talk to people around the world and same with 27.555 if you liked sideband.
What channels still popular now days?

Basically the same ones that have always been used, just less so due to lack of skip. Sometime next year it'll be getting back to typical dx contacts
Blue Zombie Trucker Thanks this. -
Yep...28, 6, 26.915, 19, 17...when dx is rolling, popular channels are not hard to find...right now tho, just depends on where your at, as what channels the locals talk on.
-
Hopefully it'll be back soon.

I'm in central Georgia. When I was active in the hobby I always used channel 28 and 26.915 most of the time. I use to be active on different CB Radio forums such as Radio Tech and CBRadioForum back in the day not sure whos still around and active. I remember you Jesse! Not sure what happen to Keep-It-Real in New York I lost in contact with him over the years.
To be honest the locals here are repeat offenders by the FCC and constant issues with them swearing, mental breakdowns and etc it's like .......... . -
CBRadio Forum is still up...Radio Tech tho I think is one that changed names to something else and may, or may not still be around...i also remember keep-it-real...haven't heard him in years eirher
