1) If CFI is not that great of a company, how is it that there have been truck drivers who have worked many years for them, perhaps even retiring from this company?
2) Providing that I am not mistaken, somewhere on the forum, there was a lady truck driver who did retire from CFI after 30 years on the job.
3) Again, providing that I am not mistaken, for many years the company name was Conway Truckload.

Well, to each his own.
I pull for a mega as a contractor (started as a company driver), and couldn't be happier nor do I take the time to hunt for another job. And I've been here over 8 years.
I guess it's whatever floats your boat.
Its tiresome to read about people who have never worked for a company hatin' on them. How would they know?
Anyway. Its like the punchline to an old joke, "if you're warm, safe, and happy in a pile of poop, keep your mouth shut."

Thank you to people with actual knowledge sharing it. Seriously, thank you.
As to why do people hate on companies they've never driven for: people love to spend 15 minutes reading an article online, then pretending they are experts ( I'm guilty of this.)
We had a guy in our orientation class this week trying to tell me what a POS Paccar drivetrains are. I asked him, and he confirmed he had never driven one. So yeah, he read an article and became an expert. Boom. (And no, I am not interested in your opinion if Paccar. I've driven them, and I've read about them, and I've discussed them with maintenance professionals.)markealy Thanks this.
