CARB replacement truck already throw codes.

I bought a 2014 388 with a ISX 15(couldn’t pass up the deal $22k). I drove it home 160 miles and threw a code(exhaust not completely sealed), so it was fixed and passed a regen and cleared the code. After about 6 weeks sitting and doing some minor work,( still had my 379 meanwhile) and after selling my 379, I focus on the replacement truck, well it threw one code (spn 3216 fmi 20) after 35 miles then 5 miles after that, it threw a second code(spn 3226 fmi 20), no derate. Still runs fine, just been doing little runs getting it polished, lettered and so on. I’ve done se research and the codes are Nox related, intake and outlet, that all I know for now. Gonna have the insight plugged in and see what follows on Thursday. I bought the OTR tool for back up. But I’m not clearing anything until I fine out the exact problem.
    It’s a shame I live in a a Commie State, that 1994 I had was king. I know many are gonna say I should move out of Commiefornia, but born and raise here and all family is here.
    Hopefully some Techs can chime in and give me an idea what’s up with this c u m a part engine .
    EDIT; the truck has 570k original miles on the Odometer but it has a recon label dated 2016. Ive checked the plungers on the fuel pump and they are not ceramic.

    Pretty truck Dave, As long as its been taken care of it looks like you got a killer deal. I like the Gold, don't see that color often.

    3226-20 is Cummins Code 3749 Outlet NOX sensor not rational drifted high
    3216-20 Is Cummins Code 3748 Intake NOX sensor not rational drifted high

    I would most definitely start with New Cummins sensors, especially if they appear original. If these are the only fault logged it is unlikely anything but defective sensors.

    Share ESN and I can check software for revisions that may apply.

    Beautiful truck! @Goodysnap will get you taken care of, he is one of the best techs on this forum. Where did the 94 end up? It would fetch #### good money around this area.

    It was but I put another $6k in it. New tires all around, fixed oil leak where the fuel pump mounts, polish and some accessories.

    C00A1FDB-8BAC-407B-8C30-CE50EC9DFCB1.jpeg It has this recon label on top, figured it’s probably a recon motor. Any info would be helpful. All this DEF/ Emissions stuff is all new to me. Have to learn it all over again.

    There are no revisions that apply to your current faults. There is an Open campaign 2193. Take it in to any Cummins Distributor and they will update the ECM software for you, warranty.

    Replacement long-block? Most Drop in complete ISX I have seen reman Serial start with 6 not 7.

    I would say the ECM serial is the original to the Chassis.
