hey jess.....been awhile since i've been on here...have u gotten all packed up and ready to go?? we're in Boise right now and we requested time off on the 16th and 17th for my son's MMA fight in Boise so he can come back for me if u need help cleaning up for the move. probably something he won't approve but i can dream right??

besides....i miss my dogs...especially my, (probably 200 lbs by now) woolly mammoth Maximus, so playing with your dogs would fill the void. i think my next dog will be a shihtzu....being thinking about getting another bully but too much snoring as it is in the house, hehehe.

Nope. I think we need to buy the planners and DM's some maps. They seem to think the route from Portland, OR to Arizona goes through Denver. I tried to get them to have the load repowered in WVC and let me bobtail home but they wouldn't go for it. Oh, well. Lesson for the new folks... Don't make plans! Oh... the answer to the question, "Does Central go to Colorado?" is... Yes... Even when you don't want to!!!!

Sounds about normal. I just wanted to know if I could take home time there. Didn't want to move there. I'd probaby get stuck going to Haleakala or Hana. (Those that have been to Maui will understand.

 

Where is he going to be going to school at? I'll be starting the 12th as well in Riverside, CA. Maybe we'll see eachother. It'd be nice to see another forum member. I spoke with the recruiter about rider policies too (my wife and I are planning on putting our stuff in storage and hitting the road together). They never said anyting about having to wait a full winter or anything like that. I certainly hope that's not the case.

Let me know what you would like about the school I start first thing tomorrow morning. I just arrived this afternoon and I trying to settling in as well as possible. I was told by the receptionist I will most likely be moving tomorrow evening when I get back from school . I have already talked to a handful of students from the class ahead of us; they said they spent fri/sat backing up on the range. The guys were saying that they were excited about the actually driving this week. All I want to do is take it one day at a time, and good Lord willing I will come out of here with my class a CDL on Oct 16th.

Am in the loverly part of Memphis at the moment, ready to make my 1st drop. Its wet, its cool, and I'm parked on the side of the street with 10 other trucks so far. Wonder how many will be here come about 0500 in the morning?
