I started my driving career with Covenant in 2012 . I really don't have anything bad to say about them besides your typical trucking issues .
My driving partner and I made over $50k our first full year and then moved on to better opportunities
Also if you choose to stay with them and become a trainer they were paying 72cpm back then plus another amount if trainee passed . I know the trainers there make $bank$ if you can handle doing that jobSpeed_Drums Thanks this. -
You and bother-in-law can probably do ok there. CRST also has their own cdl school.
Ask about the Caterpillar account. Couple of Georgia friends went with that and said they run hard with some California runs thrown in. I see their trucks running through Las Vegas a lot, heading into California. The tractors look good; the ones I see.
Speed_Drums Thanks this. -

Abilene is a decent company to start out. Nice trucks, good folks. We made 75k each, first year teaming here. Figure on 60k each to start. They start at .50 per mile plus .06 in bonus money split if you got 20k per month and don't crash into things... -
I know times are different but I can only go by my experienceaustinmike and Jerry Rigs Thank this. -
