    Another option is FedEx Ground

I used to see fleet owners hiring people straight out of fedex approved schools . Drop and hook , mostly terminal to terminal , no hazmat ,no reefer waiting game .

Run from CRST and any other company that forces you into teaming.

Run from any company that requires a contract. Any company that requires a contract does so because they know you'll leave before they have gotten their investment from you.

Run from any company that won't bus you home should they choose not to hire you. Have enough money to return home at all times if possible.

CRST and CR England are the worst for this.

Seek a company that will pay you while they train you.

I believe Wilson and FFE are among the few outfits who offer such training.

danny herman. pay is not tops but 2 positives.......1)mostly southern lanes.
    2) rarely see colorado, no chains
    3) we were off 11 days(55days out) & did not have to clean the truck out.

I started at CRST. I don’t have all the horror stories you hear about them to tell. I was fortunate, I got along with the couple of guys I teamed with. Our dispatcher kept us rolling we only stopped for our 34 but that was rolling. Never had a problem getting home when we requested. Even ran an xpo dedicated account for them for a few months and made bank doing it. Heck, I even considered going back there to run dedicated. If you can get onto one they’re not as horrible as everyone makes it seem.

No sorry I don’t know enough to be of any help. They ran them under a different division. Pegasus if I remember correctly.

I don’t remember seeing CRST pulling reefers often.

The last I heard, which could change because everything changes constantly in this industry, they were paying $1,000 per year for 20 years for a single driver. So maybe it's $1,000 per driver for 20 years?
