Driving a 2005 Mack Granite. Fuller/mack 8 speed. Er, 10 speed kinda. You've got low, low low, then 1-8. In an H pattern. Reverse is a valve on the side of the shifter. Anyway, does anyone have any tips for shift points on an 8 speed? Like say 1 gear is good for blank mph and on up? It's a sad feeling having to stop the truck on a hill fully loaded with traffic behind you because it won't go in gear. Any advice would be well appreciated.
