Yes I do. It automatically transfers at stops. Or just when taking off. Or I can shut it off or disengage it. Which is what I want to try a stops.

Can you tell me anything bout it. I'm really no familiar with it?

The way our is set up, it dumps some air in the rear dummy axle putting more weight on the drive. But after so many mph it returns to equal air. Still worthless when bobtail or empty. I took it over to Bismarck bobtail onetime last year and the axle hopped when the jakes came on.

The market here in ND, the 6x2 is worth 10k to 12k less than a comparable 6x4.

6x2 is no good for anything that goes off pavement.

What all would be involved on converting it into something where the tag axle was a drive axle.
There's a machine shop by the house. I'm wondering if they can weld a gear or something too it. So in circumstances like Tuesday I can just hook a chain to both axles. And make it move.
Originally I wanted to make them both drive axels. But I can't find any info on that.
I'm thinking along the lines of a quick and easy 6×4. What would evening able to raise the axle help with.

I took your advise and let air out of the tire. That really seemed to help. I did find out my gage is a bit worn out. So I will get another one soon.

At a minimum you'll need to buy a complete forward drive axle assembly and an interaxle drive shaft.
