Produce great for teams. Not so good on the truck.

 

I cant answer all that but this was my situation for almost 8 years with husband who had authority. We tried several scenarios over the years. Here's some that paid well:

Get on as direct carrier with Amazon, not through broker. When we did that we grossed about 10k/week. Its a guaranteed thing for you as a team. You go hub to hub. We did regional.
That was a few years back. Just saw an updated pay sheet for that out of Columbus a few weeks back where they were paying 24k per week gross for team on those. And thats not a typo! So try to get on with Amazon directly. I do know they have certain insurance requirements and other requirements. So try to find out. You can make so much money if you're willing to team it and run run run.

Doing fladbed we made more money taking 2 separate trucks, 2 loads following each other vs teaming.

Always try to build relationships so you can get those direct carrier loads.

 

You're welcome. Im not sure how to get signed up directly. Id start with Google. I mean the rates do vary. When we did it it was around 10k a week. But that 24k was the sheet end of August for Sept. Im gonna upload to show you, just incase you are doubting. Lol. My husband dealt with them, and we are not together now. He sent it to me to show how stupid I was for leaving.. So not sure. Ill try to find more info tho. Says Solo for solo drivers within certain mile radius, and then Team.

 

Ok, so Amazon Relay is where you sign up to get the spot work which are the extras from that. Its 1 alternative, but not what I was speaking of. Im still trying to find it, but kind of hard because I'm no longer there. But that Amazon Relay will get you one step closer. You should sign up for that anyway. Its basically the same requirements, with the insurance etc.

 

Yea, I think that's right. The solos are daily based on radius. The team is weekly. Its just a guaranteed pay and you do as many runs as they send you within that time frame. So it varies. It wasn't bad tho. Hub to hub, drop n hook. Sometimes loads changed. So you drive all the way there to find out load is canceled but who cares. Still get same pay. Just running around hub to hub. Sometimes you'd wait a day or half day which is fine, get to rest. Wasn't too crazy when we did it. I wish I could give you a contact but sorry no longer have that email access.

 

I don’t get it..... 3 Boston loads solo 1, solo 2, and team. Pay is $600-$24,000 . What’s the difference between these loads....?
