Is yours the evolution? My alternator went out, had to get it from TK, pay 3x the price as the same size anywhere else. Just cause you have to be able to plug the wiring in so it can send the signal to the control board that it's working. Absofreakinlutely redicorously absurtarded.

 

Yeah, it was just me and the little girl before, now it's me, the little girl, and the new boss lady.

Yes i have the evolution model. U are right it is ridiculous. The only advantage is the apu keeps batteries charged. And runs coolant back to the block so keeps the block warm in winter.. Dont see any other advnatages over a generator like @farmerjohn64 is running or @Tug Toy ... my bunk heater is so gunked up it smokes out the whole truck stop when i start it up and it didnt work half the time last winter.... Think i could fit a little generator inside my step box on passanger side, maybe cut a hole in the floor with some flex pipe for the exhaust or just put it on the cat walk and chain it down.... After seeing its not that expensive compared to apu maintenance , im probably gonna end up getting one... ive easily already put in 3 times as much money in my apu this year than that entire generator setup.. And yet the apu still dont work .... Ridiculous.

 

The only Husq we have is the riding mower.....color offset for the Deere in the yard!

 

Boss lady said she was going to call the little girl, "Little Sara", after explaining how she has to be treated to get her to cooperate with ya. She's a snotty little thing that gets real bratty in a hurry.
