    This is true for black ice. However, in mud or deep soft dirt sanders would be no bueno.

    Every one is giving great advice.
    Two things happened yesterday that has me thinking so I will try and post a small video tomorrow ( small tutorial). Our at minimum pictures. Mainly I just want to make sure where all on the same page. And verify 5 th wheel positron.

    A leveling valve is not your problem. In these situations when you say it won’t back, are both your front drive tires on solid ground? If one tire is up in space and one is on contact, you won’t be able to move. I have zero issues out of mine.
    That is a drive tire on your tag, as you put miles on it it’s going to chew those up. Drive tires are not designed for free rolling. You will have reduced life on 6x2 drive tire, front axle, I get 160k out of mine.
    That Bendix canister on the front is your air dryer.
    That is an old Thomas Keller truck out of OH. If you have any questions they might be able to give you some info as well.

    Also, getting your kingpin to sit as close to the front axle will help. My kingpin sits directly above my powered axle air bag.

    Lol. I can't believe I forgot that. That was the main reason for the video the fifth wheel. Should I move it forward more?
    You get 160k on the drives.?
    Are there tag axle rubbers I can get?
    The couple times I have gotten out to look. The passenger side drive is either not touching or in a puddle.
    Is Thomas Keller a trucking company, or a shop?
    I'm going to watch the links that was posted now.

    I thought these where watchable links. But I'm glad you sent them. After I get some money rolling in. I can see where this can be very helpful.
    We used to use cat letter growing up.

    Well dumping air as said , transfers weight to the drive axle. That 10% or whatever % helps is nice. But needs to be 100% dumped when off road in a slippery yard etc. Best deal IMO is a total lift. Dont know if you run toll roads but some toll roads count axles on the ground to establish your toll cost. One up will lower your toll.

    By dumping air, that’s the load transfer your truck appears to be missing. If there is a loss in traction it dumps the tag to put weight on the drive. In a Freightliner it will show up on your driver display and say “load transfer.” That still won’t help if you’re in uneven terrain. A little is ok, but if you get really lopsided, you won’t be able to move.
    On the tag, any trailer tire will do. I recommend the Hankook, Michelin Multi T, and Yokohama trailer tread. The shoulders last longer on those.
    Diff lock and traction control are separate from the load transfer feature.
    I have a switch on my dash to do it manually.
    Thomas Keller is a trucking company. Any Freightliner dealer should be able to pull a build sheet on that truck and tell you exactly what it has.
