Have you signed up for MCC yet? It’s $99 and gets you access to opinions of esteemed members. ;)

I knew I had a puzzle piece missing, only problem is once I pay the initiation dues I’ll be under the required financial threshold . :(

Hehe, you passed. Since this shows you in fact read other threads. Your already ahead of 90% of others who come here wanting “help”. (Really just want their plan confirmed it’s a good idea even if it isn’t.)

Your in a good area. How much money do you have saved up?

You could be home weekends, with your own authority, and make that much with a little hustle and practice.

I’d try and get as new of a truck as possible and either pull van or reefer. Probably van starting out to decrease your risk and wait times.

Leased on you won’t make that kinda money but at the right company you could have some security. The wrong company could break you however.

No matter what you’ll have to forget about 9 to 5.

We have a little over 20k saved up, but I’d only be comfortable using about half of that to get up and running. Actually buying the truck is the only thing that has me apprehensive. I’m thinking from 2015 and up. Never really wanted to own an emissions truck but it seems that most..... and that is a huge gamble......most issues have been ironed out with them.

The X15 Cummins has been really good emissions wise. The ISX was hit and miss. More miss then hit. So that would put you needing s 2017 or 2018 and newer.
