Another memory of my Dad. Always with the beanie weenies, sardines, and saltines. Trucking with him as a 4 yr old. Bottle of pop between my legs. No cup holders. He had a 7 up route, up in the hills north of Cookville Tn. We had a blast going to all the little Country stores. Old Men out front whittling away. Driving on the edge of a mountain road, trimming trees, and we were probably less that 11 or 12’ high. Scary, but exciting. The old man had a giant 8 track. Stereo, it opened up into 2 big speakers. Playing Trucking songs, and The Righteous Brothers. The big 8 track took 8 c batteries, LOL. It was fancy.D.Tibbitt, JolliRoger, LoSt_AgAiN and 6 others Thank this.
