Yes haha here’s two pictures of the two different types; both takes stick mags but from what I understand they primarily used the sticks because of jamming/feeding issues with the drum, the one they came up with for the army doesn’t have the forward grip and there’s a couple other key feature differences I’m not remembering; all in all the pre WW2 model is of better quality because the latter was used by the military after all (el cheapo). The only one I ever shot was one that fired bb’s, about 100 at least at a time; I was at our local carnival when I was maybe 8 or so, the time before I got bigger and chubby lol anyway I picked it up, weighs every bit of the original and the challenge was to shoot the “star” out of a paper target, so I propped that big sob up where the forend was resting on the table or whatever, right hand on the bottom side of the receiver and left finger on the fun lever; I fired in controlled bursts all hitting dead center in the star but I lost because I couldn’t surgically remove it
