Glenn in the yard? That should be interesting! Before I hit the road I heard that one of the instructors had been let go. And yes, take it one day at a time. It ain't over till it's over.

Hmmm... iif they smelled funky they were doing something wrong. A shower every other day should be a minimum, although sometimes circumstances dictate otherwise.

Life on the road has been good, pulling my weight on this screwed up load. We left Friday night and all my shifts have been 10 to 10.5 hours driving. I have no complaints, but all trainers are different. Going from a Volvo to this W900 was a bit of a challenge.

Time for sleep so I'm ready for my shift in the AM to get us to our next load.

 

Well. What I meant to say, Glenn the classroom instructor was saying we will be on the yard by weekend. Run on sentence oh well.

Well I just got back from my trip to Baja, we caught 8 Dorado, a couple of small tuna, a 25lb Roosterfish, a 45lb Yellowfin Tuna, and a 120lb Striped Marlin. Yesterday we were out in 10-15' seas when we caught the Marlin that was sure an interesting catch =)

I leave Sunday for Fontana to start school on Monday, I'm getting really excited =)

Hey JW good luck on monday!! I have to fax the rest of my paperwok tomorrow to the recruter so i can try to get my start date!!!

 

JW,how far is Rocklin from Fontana?

 

about 450 miles, I'm just east of Sacramento on I-80

 

If you get it all faxed in tomorrow you might be able to start monday if you don't have anything holding you up...roommate possibly? =)

 

I got your PM Pismo. I'll text you when I get closer to LA on Sunday. bgdaddy...you planning on going to Riverside on Monday the 12th too? I just faxed all my stuff in today and am slated to leave Saturday for Riverside.
