    Yes Walmart charges to unload freight!!!!!! And dont worry they are not gonna get no more of my money!!!!! I am flatbedder. Pulled a reefer for only 2 weeks and a van for 3 months back in 97 when i broke my left hand in 14 places and i had a cast on my arm. Pulled a chemical tanker for a few years too. I had a 38 foot framless dump but traded it for a backhoe cuz i wasnt using it. But dont you ever worry bout me haulin a wal mart load ever again. LOL:thumbright:

    New CDL's, newbies, and those who want to get off OTR will work a job like that! That's what keeps all these 'grind thru the drivers' companies going. Where else can you: go to CDL school for 4 wks, train for as little as 3-4 wks, and go out and start making $50K/yr!!!!

    :smt026 Good idea! If it can be done, Wally World probably will one day. Then we could drive little truck baskets down 3 ft ailes, while shopping for more lights and chrome!

    Whats funny about this is that I thought I saw a Walmart sign at a TA on 94 in Minnesota I think at exit 207 or so. Strange.

    I HATE wal#art!!!!!!!!! I only go to the DC's because I happen to have to haul their crap. They have done nothing but a dis-service to this country creating the plethora of minimal wage jobs, and bullying manufacturers and trucking firms around, and yes, that most certainly includes us drivers that don't drive their trucks. At every one their DC's I've been to, I've been treated very rudely, and unproffesionally by the minimum wage morons. I still treat them the same as a decent customer though.

    Shop at wal#art? Only, and I do mean ONLY, as a very last resort. Do I pay more, likely, but I feel better about it, no matter if it makes a difference or not. I might be a driver, but I will not alter my principles for the likes of wal#art.

    There, I feel better now!!!:smt038:toothy8::hello1::smt041:smt041:smt041:smt041

  11. I have mixed feelings too - They seem to be on one of those "I want to take over the world" :smt029 kicks, but if they kept the prices lower than the other t/s then I guess I'd have to say yippee!!
