My first shop job was with some older gentlemen. I took there advice. Use and respect their tools. Make sure I wanted to keep doing that line of work. Then start investing in them. Its a acquired hoarding, built over time. I pitty my only daughter. She better like cars or trucks. Or marry someone that does. Someday she will have to deal with it.

So Im runnin one of the company 379's while my 386 is getting the turbo rebuilt. This truck has a bad air leak, with the secondary air droppimg 20psi in like a minute. So I brought it back into the shop while Im here in Dallas.

Me: Ive got a bad air leak, but I can't park anywhere quiet enough to find it.

Mechanic: Checks it out, finds the sleeper airbags leaking

*an hour later*

Mechanic: Ok good to go.

The truck: *still leaking air*

 

Welcome to Western Express; I deal with that #### every single day, my secondary air tank drops probably more than yours if you turn the truck off for no more than 5 minutes; can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked stupid having to idle the truck to get my air pressure back up

 

Do you know the worst thing about getting a pre plan and making plans for where you’re gonna stop? When it gets taken from you, you have to find more hookers! Sorry @HillbillyDeluxeTruck i know you helped me trip plan out of that forgotten abyss of a town but it is what it is
