I transferred my license to a different state and had to retake the written hazmat test at that time. Didn’t need to redo the TSA fingerprints because my old ones are still valid for a few more years.

Fedex Freight, Southeastern Freight Lines, UPS Freight, Estes, AAA Cooper, XPO, R&L, ABF, Sysco, US Foods, PFG, GFS. The fuel haulers out there are probably mostly the same as they are over here in Tampa too: Eagle, Kenan, Energy Dispatch, Speedway, Penn Tank Lines, Torrissi, Coraluzzo. I don't know a lot about that side of the business though. I run P&D in Tampa and make $28.40/hr which is about average for LTL down here I'd say. I'm not sure what the pay is like exactly for food guys or fuel guys, but it's probably in the same ballpark.

Florida has nice, flat, well-maintained roads. Even the U.S. highways and county roads put a lot of other states' interstate highways to shame. There are also lots of rest areas on the interstates--every 40-60 miles or so. They are in great condition and most have security.

The answer to your question is no.
You moved to the lowest paying place for a truck driver.
You should have researched this beforehand.
Any of us would have to you this before going there.

    Can't blame you for that.
I from jersey myself, left 15 years ago for the same reason,
Plus the high cost of living.
    I went to Texas.
The closer you are to I-10 or anywhere around Jacksonville, the better jobs you can get.

    Jmelendez1223 Thanks this.
