installing a new top plate

    Every one we install is good on adjustment, we always check them just to be sure. They will come with pins, you will need a bushing kit for the mount pivot. Are you installing on a Holland riser?

    Just curious. The pivot kit and the top plate part will be different based on what mount you have.

    I think it's a Fontaine fifth wheel that's on it now and I just don't care for it. I had a jost on my other truck and prefer the way the pull release handle operates (up then out). I think it's safer/better design and like that it has a grease fitting for the jaws.

    Shipping would probably be high from them on the plate, but 4 State in Joplin had the best price on the pin and bushing kit when I rebuilt mine last month.

    FleetPride was the best price on the top plate.
