    Ha I gotta say the lamest thing about losing my dad at an early age isn’t not having him teach me how to drive, do maintenance on a car/in a house, take me hunting, etc, it’s hands down not having him around to know whether or not he’d be proud of me and to see how far I’ve come, somewhat the same with my grandpa as well lol not trying to be a downer, just reminded me of that

    As far as I'm concerned, if you're doing something you like while earning a self sustaining living without the need to bother anybody else, he'd be proud.

    My father always preached "I want you to do better than me", but I seriously doubt he'd want me to do a job I hate, even if most people might think it were better than his.
