How is your lasagna?
I'm a big fan of lasagna done right. I usually try it wherever I go if it's somewhere I have not dined before.
Best lasagna I've ever eaten was in Paris, France at this little hole-in-the-wall café in the St. Michel district. Second best lasagna was from an Italian restaurant in Tucson that has long since closed. What a crying shame that was.
Guess who’s back?!

Had one in town, used to get shut down by the health department at least once a year for code violations.

I have never heard of it. Where was it located in Tucson. Apparently it is a chain restaurant, at least there is a chain I found when I googled it. We have several landmark privately owned Italian restaurants in town. My favorite is Caruso's non N 4th Ave. Been in the same location since the 30's. Still run by the same family.
