    See, there ya go.
    Learn something new every day.
Man...I am stressing. I have a work well and a road test next week lol.
Actually, I have gained almost 30lbs sitting around the house the last 4 months. But I do not think my blood preasure will be an issue.
Then to backing those long boxes again. I like my spread axle flats 48-50' with no swing, and plenty of visability so much better.
Should not be a problem though. I am just ready to get working again.

GOOD LUCK Chrome hope everything works well for ya know your ready to get back to work!

The house is finally quiet for the night. Been another long week. With Hope in a cast and falling at school today thought she broke the upper thigh so back to the er this morning. 1bad being home sick as a dog all day long. He is going to tough it out one more stretch out on the road. We can't afford to lose our insurance till we see next week if Hope will have to have surgery. I know he is ready to go to TX but we gotta make sure she is ok before we lose insurance for 3 months. It was a hard decision but one that kinda made itself. Gotta admit I'm a bit nervous about moving and the fact that I have a couple months to think about it before me and kids go out to be with 1bad is not making me feel any better. Knowing he will be at home every night there and I still can't see him reguarly is hard but this too shall make us stonger as a unit both as a couple and as parents. One day maybe when the kids are older we can get back on the road together as a team and I can see the things he has had the chance to see. I should be able to catch on easily since I have had a CDL for over 5 years now. Just never drove anything that bends..............lolol Ok think I'm gonna check out some ghost hunters and hit the bed for the night big day tomorrow to get him ready to go back out as soon as they are done with his inspection. Sleep well everyone and remember boys the white lines are not just a suggestion!

    Hey Jess,

How would that work with running teams with coors? I'm in school right now, and would like to team up with a classmate here. Is this something that has to be after six months of solo driving without any service failures?

I want to know whats out there in the company and figure the quickest way to make some money. We have heard the reality already about mileage for the newbies is around 1900-2200 per week. We all got to start somewhere.

Running teams is ok if your partnering with a spouse and the money is going in one bank acc IMHO.

Coors advertise 4200-4500 a week truck gets paid 31 cents a mile, all dedicated they want 6 months OTR no service failures but wouldn't hurt to ask since they are short on teams.

    Hey Iceman,

Do not sweat the small stuff my friend. Come in do everything as ordered and time will fly by pretty fast. We have ten guys get their permits today in our class. Study primarily from the Class A CDL handbook on the air brakes and combination vehicles. Everything else will come from Glenn giving you practice tests. See you on Sunday.

I can't and won't give you Centrals policy since I don't know what it is. Generally tho, most companies want the felony to be anywhere from 7 to 10 years old. Thats from the time that your sentence was completed, IE 5 yrs probation, time starts when that ended.

I am a felon myself so yes you can find a job in this industry as a felon. Have to admit tho, that I got in just before the crash began and it maybe harder now than before.

If you can get your CDL on your own, I work for Transam. Heck, if they'd hire a tired old hippie like me...........Hope those words of encouragement will help some. NEVER GIVE UP ON HOPE!!!!!

    expungment.

    go to your state's BCI.
Background Criminal Investigation and apply for expungement. then you won't have to worry about it anymore. it's cheap and takes about 60 days to complete the process.

we all do stupid things as a kid. but we don't have to take our stupidity to the grave.

Central's Security Division's back ground investigations goes back to your childhood. They do not hold a felony against you as long as you disclose it on your application. Any attempt to conceal information will be considered 'falsification of application'. If in doubt discuss it with your recruiter up front before signing up for training.
