My truck is the same as yours. All breakers except if you check inside the battery box I am sure you will find one or two inline fuses in there. When I last put batteries in this truck the #### thing would crank but not fire and one of those fuses ended up being the culprit.

Dash cams are useful in this circumstances , get one that displays your speed also on film, you never know when you need it.

I'll tell you sometimes things are ironic.

That morning before I knew I was going to go pass that weigh station I went to pump my brakes with heart application so my know my brakes will be adjusted and I heard an air leak.

He jumped up in the truck with me and said I hear an air leak but he told me it was the one at the treadle valve but I'm pretty certain I have an air leak inside the truck probably at the brake light sender.

Never heard it until that morning while I Was preparing to drive past the weigh station.

Yesterday I went to face in my seat belt and the part that you click into is bolted to the side of the seat and that piece of Steel actually broke right off.

When I go home I'll drill another hole in it.

I'm lucky that didn't happen before I got inspected, LOL.

I'm going to buy some fuses to keep on hand anyway.

If it's posted on the FMCSA website, your insurance rates will increase next renewal.

    You did that yourself.

Violations were discovered and listed on the report. Nobody is going to write “No Violations Discovered” in the violations section & then list violations in the notes section. That is just stupid

Also I forgot the officer asked me for my medical card.

I told him that I thought it was attached to my license.

He said that it is, but I could photocopy it and carry it with me in case their Electronics are down when they check.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

It's my understanding that you're supposed to carry your long form dot physical .
( or a copy of it I think is ok ).

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.
