I Should have listened: (CR ENGLAND!!!!)

My Uncle was a Mormon, (I say was because he has hopefully already passed through the pearly gates) And he would never say "####" and expect them to believe he was considering being a devoted Mormon.

Showing them your plans for building the underground shelter for 2 years worth of grocery's would be needed in conjunction with using such foul language.

 

Yup. Newbies that don't know any better... that's all they're fixin' to have left. And right now, mostly because they're the only ones left that will school anyone who can pass the drug test, for free if they lease a truck, and guarantee them a job. "Too many drivers chasing too little freight" - their own words!

 

I started with England back in 97 and stayed 4 yrs and first of all I will say it was not as bad back than. I was in western regional and than became a trainer and had a dedicated run to Florida and back. You guys are right this company is bad to the core. True enough there will be some lazy incompetent drivers that come thru their doors that couldn't make any money anywhere but overwhelmingly the only ones that do well there are the trainers and the drivers that are at some logistics account.
I asked an England trainer a couple of weeks back about the company and he said it is a pyramid scheme where the company screws the lease drivers/ trainers and the trainers screw the students. The trainers get good miles when they have a student and can make about $1500 a wk while the poor student is getting like $40 a day while driving 11 hours .

 

One thing I don't like about CR England is the $1500 you have to pay for a refresher course? I just graduated from a trucking school 08/21/09, and you don't get paid for the first 17 days! why the hell would anybody pay to work for a company???

 

You sound like one of the instructors at CRE Burns Harbor School. I went through the school there and there are some instructors that do not need to be there (especially the Phase I Upgrade Instructor).

I hope that England gets some instructors that care more about the students then about failing them.

 

maybe they have good reasons to fail a student. Like they can not drive.. Duh

 

If CR England is so bad, how can they get anyone to work for them?

 

With CRE I believe it's all the ads (50cpm company drivers etc -JB is similiar) and their trailers looked really nice (aluminum, with red and the England (a Euro company?) writing).

The drivers would drive real aggressive and rather foolish = trying to beat the fleece. They have slowed down in the last year -Similiar to Prime Fleecers (slowing down part).

Either way it's still a fleece. CRST (The Golden Fleece) may be worse. JB Fleece.

 

When people need a job its amazing what they will put up with and these
training companies like C.R.England,USA TRUCK and plenty of others know
it.It sounds to me like driving a taxi was better then OTR truck driving has
become.Good luck to you in what ever choice you make.

 

It's too bad that so many people have been victimized by CRE. Are there any good companies out there? Or do they all do a modified version of what CRE does?
