So you base your assessment of Walmart on NOT getting hired? Okay, let me then state as a man that giving birth isn’t the most painful experience, not by far.

No I base it on my experience in Arkansas during the tryout process. There were red flags about micromanagement and other things. I don't think I would have enjoyed the culture.

So you backed into a trailer or rolled through a stop sign during onboarding and got micromanaged straight home...gotcha.

Yea, I believe you got sent home after failing a portion of WM’s onboarding process, and that now makes you uniquely qualified to make claims on working for WM. And that does make me happy...bro

Excellent presentation. The paragraph about micromanaging is spot on! We are seeing more turnover among drivers at my DC now more than since I started. In trucking, nothing good lasts forever as there is always someone who wants to mess up a good deal..Walmart is at that point and I for one am sad to see it go. It was once a big company with small company attitudes...now...well you are just a number. :((

WMT never was the best job in trucking. However it was the most widely known higher paying driving job the the OTR drivers knew about. So many of them would say it was the best.

There was back then and still are other companies that pay a decent wage. But the driver has to go find them. Because these companies don't advertise.

I lasted 7 months @ WMT and just couldn't take it anymore. However most of the backstabers and older drivers that hated newbies when I was there have either retired or quit.

It used to be a decent outfit. But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone these days!!!
