Rofl if you’re actually writing for a book, or something similar then what you do is type fast, not thinking much about grammar (to a certain extent), perfect punctuation, spelling, etc, just writing down whatever comes to mind and this will be your rough draft; once you’re done you go back over it, correcting all the errors, adding or taking away sentences, choosing better words, etc and finally you type more slowly while doing your final draft; you could do it!

Ah, the good ol typewriter!! :)

I have great memories as a kid listening to the sweet sounds of one.. My mom's an RN, but working with only A.S. degree at the time. I was 7 & my sister was 9yrs old, I guess Ma figured we were self sufficient enough she could start up night school to finish up her bachelor's degree & get a nice pay raise..

Late at night, I'd fall asleep on the family room floor listening to my Ma tap away at the keys, & the carriage sliding right to left. Fond memory..

Thanks FJ, hadn't thought about that in years. Sometimes forget all she done for us. Good Mama..

Anytime man; I’m kinda obsessed with antiques like that, I’ll see if I can find the picture of it when I got it for my birthday last year on eBay lol

Pfft haha you’re not that bad, besides sending messages on a forum and writing are two different things, it takes the best writers all day and then some; for example Stephen King couldn’t even spit out a novel on FloridaMan in a day!

Well that is quite a cool hobby to have , i think every truckdriver has something they like to do. With all the downtime. I remeber bumping a dock a few times with a van trailer before and i remeber this dude in a long hood pete all tricked out , chrome to the 9's. He was sitting there crotcheting . I thought man thats cool.
