Have a 2013 Transtar MF 11 that loses all ignition switch power while driving-like the ignition switch was turned off. Still have flashers and cab light. Stays dead for about 15 mins, something resets, and I can start the truck and drive for a few miles and it happens again.
UPDATE-drove truck loaded and mostly uphill for 15 miles today and it shut down 4 times. Reset after 17-24 minutes each time and started back up. Each time coolant temperature was above 210. Coming home, unloaded and mostly downhill-temp was at 180 and made it all the way home with no shut down.

Ok, need more info to see how much of the truck is losing power and whether it is main battery or ignition. When this happens, does the cluster go dead too? Do you have an automatic trans? Does the shifter display go blank?

Instrument cluster goes dead-gauges frozen in place until reset. 10 speed manual. No headlights, just emerg flashers and dome light work. Good voltage, engine cranks and fires right up after reset

I would start with all main battery connections at the firewall including ground connections too. Main battery feeds for the cab also run through the firewall. I believe there are two of them with big connectors right near the firewall. Check for burnt connections or corrosion.

    joejffrs Thanks this.

That was it Heavyd. Removed all battery connections and 100a fuses to the cab at the firewall, cleaned and reconnected them but then had no power to the cab. Found that one of the fuses was bad after jostling it around and cleaning it. New fuses on the way. Thanks Heavyd.
