I passed my CDL test yesterday!

Congratulations that was a stressful time for me

 

I’ve heard they were horrible but you gotta start somewhere good luck !!!

 

Lol that or wear a pamper jk I’ve pulled over a lot and just peed on highway .

 

Sometimes it’s good to whine just to get it off your chest

Congratulations on getting your cdl. Best of luck with training. Hopefully, you get a trainer who will begin to teach you what you need to know. You will learn something every day you drive no matter how many miles you have driven. Remember, every Super Trucker was once a beginner. Many of them forget that aspect of their career history. Dress decently and be a professional. Flip Flops are only good for shower shoes. Get a decent pair of steel toed shoes if they are required. Work hard and have fun.

 

I have an acquaintance who started out driving with a Werner Dollar General account fresh out of the same CDL school I graduated from. He liked it. Home a lot. If fact, that’s how I met him. I noticed his truck parked at an abandoned church parking lot down the road from me all the darn time. I got his number off a note he left in the window.

I was going to do that after flat-bedding didn’t pan out. My friend was a trainer at that point. Said he’d train me. When I called Werner, they told me to go get three months experience. Bummer.
