I am considering their Line Haul training program. They spend something like 4-7 weeks for training including dock/fork lifts. Once out there are double runs to 4-5 other XPO docks and unloading and loading the trailers then running back with doubles. I was told there is more time spent on docks than driving. It's Mon-Fri starting in the evenings finishing out late morning and home daily.

Would you rather run for a mega? You’ll have to run team and live with a stranger who smells like dirty socks for 6 weeks for half the pay then what XPO would pay. If you can get on at any LTL training program jump on it. You’ll be home everyday and be with a company you won’t have to leave. Top senior drivers at XPO make 100k+ and home everyday can’t beat that.
John Joel Glanton, Fastbreakstar22, Dino soar and 1 other person Thank this. -

So far so good. First week computer training, second and third maneuvering around with dollies and doubles plus the 48 footers on the lot. We did 3 days on the dock and now we are training out on the field.
John Joel Glanton Thanks this.
