Got my Stryker Mag Mount today. With my AT-6666 in my little Subaru, I'm pretty much 1.0 VSWR across the board with the stinger bottomed out. Channel 1 is 1.1 VSWR so maybe I'll lift the stinger a hair when I get a spare moment

    rabbiporkchop and 715 Thank this.

I would feel blessed by the radio gods and wouldn't touch it lest they be displeased.

Make sure to keep a eye out on the connector piece on the antenna that goes to the radio mine was defective and how to get a new one installed so far no issues.

wow you called that one. The threaded part of my connector came off and is nowhere to be found. I wonder if Stryker would repair under warranty. Probably more trouble than it's worth.

I just now requested an RMA so let's see what they say. Pray for me lol

One week and no answer from Stryker on the RMA. I'll probably just replace the connector myself but it will be fun and revealing to see if/when Stryker ever responds

No reply from Stryker. Guess I'm on my own.

I know what NOT to do next time I need equipment

Sounds like the connector is a weak spot in their system. That, and their service. Three Strykes and you're out.

I wouldn't even attempt to solder a PL259 connector. I would just order a new cable with a connector on one end and attach the other end internally.

I was thinking about doing that: ordering a few feet of Ultraflex with one connector. That method jacks the price up a bit tho. Still thinking..........................................

Gotta eat crow on this issue. I found the missing connector and it simply screws on to the part that is permanently connected to the cable. Oops Stryker sorry about that. I still love you, man lol
