2020 Volvo day cab. We've gotten eight new semis at my company, and everybody has noticed a tracking on the road issue really bad. It's almost like they're drifting left and right when you're holding the steering wheel straight. Anybody else with this issue?

its called wander. the caster is set at zero from factory. you need to have the caster adjusted. it needs some pull towards each other to keep it tight.

Are your trucks equipped with Hendrickson Steertek air spring steer axle?

Curious...no further info on this? Alignment is a good one to check for sure.....i just see a few other posts on this problem and it seems to be common to this axle after a bit of mileage...was wondering if anyone has sorted it out.

Caster doesn’t do that. Caster is the forward or rearward tilt of the steering.

I’ve had this happen with really deep tread depths on drive tires especially around 24/32.

    Goodysnap and truckdriver31 Thank this.
