Can learner's permit be transfered to another state?

No it will not, some states can't even transfer your CDL, so if you move to another state you gotta start all over again. Better finish it in the state you started it. Hope this helps

When I moved to Nevada from Tennessee, all the DMV required was a new eye test.
Hazmat has to be done over, but all other endorsements transfer to the new cdl.

Illinois is the only state I know of that you have to start all over, as if you've never had a cdl.
One veteran driver flunked the Illinois pre-trip when he said "Air pressure guage" instead of "Air pressure indicator."hopeful eyes Thanks this. -
About the same time I moved from Tennessee to Nevada, a friend of mine, not a cdl driver, moved to Sandy, Utah and he loves the state. Seems to be a good state to live in.

I was unable to transfer a CDL Learners Permit from Florida to Arizona and simply had to take the written tests again and pay for it.
I do not think a learners permit will transfer from one State to another. But, not positive.
