I'm watching the Flintstones laughing my ### off. If any of you are offended by that, I'll sleep better tonight

Does the OM permit breaking wind, or do you have to hold that in until it comes up as a belch? :biggrin_25523:

When and where did you last get DEF?
It could be poor DEF. Actually could be a number of things. Filter, injector, maybe a sensor going out.
You should hear the system purge when you shut down the engine. You should hear it “prime” when you turn the key on and wait for the POST to finish.

Maybe get a box of DEF and try that. It is more consistent in quality over bulk.

I think he was doing something wrong... Or very inexperienced.

I can throw a full set of chains in 40 to 60 mins.... And it take 5 to 15 min to remove off store them away.

I dont HAVE to throw chains unless I want to... Usually I WANT to cause I don't want to sit in a truck stop for days on end unless I absolutely have to, I might wait a few hours but not days.

But I'm not your average driver either... I grew up throwing chains on vehicles just to go to town, or school, or work. So I know how to throw chains, and how to drive with them safely.

Irritates me to no end when I see these guys blow my doors off on solid ice going way to fast for conditions... But as soon as the topic of chains comes up its always "Chains are to get to parking, not to get down the road." Well I completely disagree, as long as a driver knows how to use and drive with chains properly then I say Getterdone!!!

To be honest I wish WY would use the chain requirement more like they used to, instead of just closing the road.
