Jake brake issues????

Did the cruise control quit working same time as the jakes? If the truck thinks the clutch pedal or brake pedal are pressed the Jake's nor cruise will work..

 

To be honest I dont truly know, I never use the cruise.
I dont drive the truck often enough..........

 

So oddly enough the cruise works when it wants to. Cruise works Jakes work, cruise doesn’t work Jake’s don’t work.

 

Sounds like the clutch switch to me.

 

And that would be controlled by the clutch spring?

 

Pete 379s at least the older ones the air switches are in front of your feet if your driving it.
Also check your treadle valve is completely releasing they need to be kept clean and lubed. That's the foot brake valve.
