Come to Missouri (and other reasonable states) and work in the “commercial zone” where 22,400 pounds per axle is legal with no permit. We have 5 axle straight trucks at 110k plus delivering 35tons of gravel per load. Trucks pulling triaxle full frame end dumps hauling 45 tons per trip.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Even outside of a commercial zone, as long as you stay off the interstates it's 36K on a tandem and 22K on a single axle.

    kylefitzy and Oxbow Thank this.

But only up to what you can bridge or 80k what ever is less. In the commercial zone bridge laws don’t apply.

Oxbow and Pedigreed Bulldog Thank this.

Maryland will permit up to 27k per axle. But I’m sure dumps and concrete trucks have a different set of rules. Just depends on who has the better lobbyists

    Oxbow and johndeere4020 Thank this.

How much weight can I legally carry in Michigan with this setup. 72" axle spread with a lift axle. IMG-20200823-WA0000.jpg P1150279.JPG
