Well speaking for me personally, I have no issue with a 20+ stop peddle with 5 pickups afterwards if it’s in my own territory. What I have a problem with is some notion that after all that I should be expected to cover the lazy driver’s pickups in the neighboring territory.

Just a little update im still working at PYLE. Everything is going GREAT!! never been so relax in my life working for a truck company. Today i got my pay stub and guess what they gave me a raise!! i was not expecting the raise because they said they change the pay that in 6 month you will reach top pay. But guess what they bumb me from 23.65 to 26.75!!! sweet man im telling you this company do not play no games with their drivers. My next raise would be in December to top rate 29.75hr. Im driving a 2021 579 brand new pete man i cant ask for more. Im very grateful this company gave me a chance to work for them. I will recommend this company to anybody. You should see what the owner of the company drive. You will think he drives a high end car nope guy drives a 2014 ford expedition and is crashed on the door . Owners are christian i could tell you that. When he makes meeting with all the drivers he make us pray i was in shock. They are very down to earth. At the end of this year they will show how much the company made and where the money going. I was told they do that every end of the year. they want their workers to see how the company is growing because of the workers hard work. I will be staying here for a long time. I actually live 2 minute drive from the terminal i aint going no where.

Anyone have info on dedicated routes? I have a offer with them on a dedicated route? Targeted rate of 70k. I never understood what the target terms means. Doesn't sound like that's what I'll be getting. Sounds like I have the chance to get 70k if I get the miles and stops? Is the health cover the different being on a dedicated route? Also how's is the retirement plan, I know they use to have a pension plan? Can this company be a great one to retire from?

glad to hear you’re doing great at Pyle. I’ve seen their adds recently, looks like they need drivers bad they only want a year of experience now and they took off the night driving experience requirement. Are you typically starting around 7-10pm?

So I received the offer letter. Saying .69cents a mile and and $15 a stop. How does that come out to average $1300 a week? I'm confused. That have to give me a good amount a miles a week for me to get that kind of money. Also said something about a company defined contribution plan and 401k. Does that sound reasonable? Just trying to get opinions. Thanks

Figure that $15 at that mileage rate is 21.73 miles. $1300 at that rate is equal to 1,884 miles.

So, figure for every stop you visit, subtract 21 miles off what you’d need to drive to make that number.

Decent mileage rate, I just wonder if your workload will be heavy with stops or heavy with mileage.

ADP is a good outfit that doesn’t have a reputation of systematically screwing drivers. I don’t think you’d be making a bad choice to take it.

Yea I'm not sure. Maybe during orientation I'll find out more. I'm just use to hourly rate jobs so this is new to me. Do you happen to work for them or know anyone that does?
