The fan hub bearings are gone on my 2005 with a Kysor fan clutch hub. There are 4 (15mm?) nuts holding the hub on the bracket onto the front cover. There is not enough space to fit a socket or wrench onto the nuts. It seems the only way would be using open end wrench and risk stripping the nuts. Any advice please. Thank you.
It is a D12

use a good wrench like snap on and do not force them might have to heat them up if necessary removed at least 100 of them never had an issue, better access if you take off accessory drive pulley held on with 6 12 mill screws.
poniikyanion and BoxCarKidd Thank this. -
My problem is I can’t get any wrench onto the bolts with the studs sticking out. The hub is blocking when I try to put a wrench over the studs. -
Why won't the open end fit over? Looks like there's enough room.

Yes this would be the one there is no way if you strip it with this wrench you are definately not made to work on trucks or on cars for that matter.
