Air Dog

I ran it on a modified e-model cat i had. Didn't notice any hp increase but smoother running and fuel mileage increase of about 2/10. I liked it for priming the filters.

 

I cant see how a low pressure electric pump is going to give you more power as the injectors will only provide "X" amount of fuel based on programing and air into the engine. Yes if the mechanical pump doesnt have to work as hard to deliver fuel you might see a 1/10 increase.

You want power? Bigger turbo, bigger injectors, bigger cam, bigger exhaust and timing to match....or.....bigger motor.

Sadly it all cost big $$ and in the end, unless the whole drivetrain is built for it you'll just break parts.

The system your talking about will probably help with starts and idle as the fuel system will have optimum pressure.

 

I'm happy with my air dog unit. Been running for 2 months now on my D16.

Better throttle response, consistant and smooth as silk power delivery, and definitely a little more power. Too hard to tell how much fuel I'm saving since we're changing seasons and fresh winter rubber etc. If I had an 18 speed under me there are a handful of spots in my region I would be half a gear quicker.

My truck is happy and I'm confident it will pay for itself in 1 year.
