If they were hunters it's a good bet they just chased away whatever they were looking for.

They went on past me. I stopped where I want to hunt this morning. I’m hoping they push some stuff down my way

No worries. That makes perfect sense. :)

I was just curious if you looked into it.

I loved seeing that pink Pete in person. It ran the west coast quite a bit.

Key to car hauling is find a niche. Especially something no one wants to do. I made bank hauling mine trucks north, and broken mine trucks back. Had a few full service contracts, haul em down broken, fix em and haul em back.
We had a single screw m2 and a wally mo 4 place. Fought a lot with trailer axle weights. Had to make a few runs made legal by removing spare tires/tailgates/fire ext and strapping to the front of the deck.
There was a few runs i had to take the scenic route.
I was paid percentage and made darn sure it was worth my time. It certainly wasnt easy, loading frozen broken crap at -40. View attachment 349750

That’s a daycab Swift truck with an add on flattop sleeper. Never seen that done before.
