Tcalled load I picked up in beaver ut in jurupa terminal.
then grabbed another load out of there and came here for the nite
took 2hr20m to go 77 miles.
I normally would not leave.jurupa on a Friday but Caltrans is doing construction on 15 frwy in fontana.
been closing it down to o.e.lane on weekends.
also for has been bad up.the Cajon pass early mornimg

so came here to beat it.

 

It may have taken some extra time, but at least you got out.

 

Yes I did. It pays well ($.50 a mile) and I'm home every day. The fleet is having some growing pains and where I park my truck SUCKS but otherwise I'm happy. Company is VERY responsive to any problems.

 

Sault Saint Marie, MI at a very small place, because that is all that is here.
No pplan yet, even though I delivered the Walmart blitz load in the early afternoon.

Not much up here, but it was a wonderful drive to get here. Nice scenery and next to no traffic.
Nice weather as well.

then pick up a load in Colton ca and take that back to beaver ut.
other drivers last week. be says he is retiring.

Managed to blow a super single today. What a mess THAT made. On top of that either the wiring or the wheel speed sensor was damaged and now my dash is lit up like a christmas tree. No ABS, stability control, and cruise. Not having cruise is no fun at all!

 

When I arrived at the yard this morning I found a mechanic working on my truck. Delayed my departure for 3 hours which made for another long day. At least he fixed the problem (damaged wiring leading to the wheel speed sensor). Tomorrow's load won't be ready til late afternoon giving me a chance to catch up on my sleep.

 

I'm home.
3 days early.

I delivered a load to the Home Depot in Apple Valley tonight. There were no loads for the weekend that would get me back on Monday so I ended up starting home time tonight.
I'm having to take an extra day because Tuesday is the only day all my girls can make it here for dinner.

Home Depot didn't have the swap trailer all the way unloaded when I got there so it took an extra 45 minutes.
By the time I got home and logged a post trip, I went off duty with 0 minutes left on my 14.
How's that for timing?
