That's a neat setup you had there.! I'm guessing there is some sort of bunk in the back judging by what looks like curtains in the rear windows.?
Yeah, I posted a pic of a 3 axle rig also, but I'd possibly go for a tandem wagon to try keep axle weights in check. Although FL will give 22,000lbs on a single axle which helps, I'm thinking I'd still be running interstate for a while till I built some sort of clientele..
& I agree 100%, finding a niche is what it's all about. It can fall apart like anything in trucking, but serving a niche market is a good way to earn top wages..
Not sure if it's just me, but unfortunately the links to the photos seem broken. Only can see one pic of the m2, & 3 1500 white crew cab Chevys..

I have seen them both ways, the way to check is drain the system down to 40 or 50 lbs by pumping the brakes with the engine off and see which tank goes down first(should be secondary), if any. then start the engine and watch the gauge, the first to move is the primary.jamespmack, 650cat425, Isafarmboy and 8 others Thank this.

Also drain your tanks one by one and see which tank has moisture in it and which gauge goes down , the "wet" tank is primary.jamespmack, 650cat425, Tug Toy and 5 others Thank this.

@HillbillyDeluxeTruck, Take a full windex bottle or soapy water bottle and squirt every fitting and air tank ( especially around tank u-bolts) and look for the big bubbles. Even the air lines to the fan clutch.

Ive done it to some of the fittings. Ive laid under the truck listening and Ive had my wife listen around (her hearing is way better) and the only noticeable leak is that purge valve.
I parked the truck over 24hrs ago. Pretty sure my primary was empty this morning and had 105ish psi on the secondary. Then I started thinking I got my needles mixed up. Because anything brake related (releasing truck or trailer brakes, stepping on the brake peddle) I lose pressure on the orange needle.jamespmack, 650cat425, PoleCrusher and 1 other person Thank this. -
How many 11R24.5 tires can a guy fit in a 6.5 foot truck box? Got 6 unmounted (I assume) plus 4 Alcoas to pick up at some point in the coming few weeks. Just debating if I should try and fit them all or just rent a trailer?

For a stock engine I might be inclined to agree.
Do you think the same could be said after some tweaks were made on the Cummins, like a bigger turbo and injectors ?jamespmack, singlescrewshaker, 650cat425 and 2 others Thank this.
