Bells cb can, but I'm not sure if he is taking mail in radios. He couldn't keep up with the work load. You can check his website to find out.

I agree with him. The last time i heard they were not accepting mail in repairs from what the guy who emailed me back didn't say anything about tune ups or etc.

I wouldn't recommend anybody to work on that radio based on what's been done to the radio. I know one guy capable of making it perform the way you want it to perform but the cost to have it done would exceed the value of the radio and because the guy has integrity he would tell you not to waste your money on it and throw it away and purchase a new Cobra 29. Labor isn't free.

Could the rfx be take off and the radio put back to stock? I don’t have much in the radio so I wouldn’t mind putting some money into it.

Yes, but by the time you pay postage to mail the radio to a tech, and then back to you, plus labor to work on the radio, it wouldn't be worth it. You would be better off buying a new one. Better yet, buy a better radio like the president Taylor or Walker II.

which is why i bought stock, and cheap. break down??

roll down the window, and toss them out, get another one.

made better sense then investing all sorts of money for the toys, and no one to fix'em, or you have to leave them at the shop, and hope and pray they do not go out of business, and you lose your cb.
